We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Expert with proven skills for a 12-month hybrid engagement based in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will support several Department of Highways cloud initiatives, focusing on the development and design of new and existing PaaS applications and their infrastructure. Collaboration with our internal development team will be key as you plan and design cloud solutions for current applications. Your work will involve products such as PaaS applications, Web Application Firewall, CI/CD, Storage Management, and Azure DevOps. You will also be responsible for developing business requirements, facilitating change management documentation, and creating pipelines for resource deployment to the cloud. Close cooperation with the development technical lead is essential to discuss design and planning aspects. Responsibilities

• Research application design for the transformation and modernization of enterprise applications using Azure cloud and Terraform.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure for the organization.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the Azure platform, including Azure Networking, Web Application Firewall, API Management Services, and Microsoft Entra/Active Directory.
• Research and recommend Azure PaaS application and networking services to support cloud growth.
• Document disaster recovery technical procedures for Azure applications.
• Create architectural diagrams and documentation for existing cloud-hosted applications.
• Research, document, and implement an integration process between Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
• Research products and new technologies to enhance business and operational efficiency.
