JOB DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Communications Team is seeking a contractor to lead and manage the enterprise-wide migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online. This role involves collaborating with Lines of Business (LOBs) to audit and migrate content, providing comprehensive training to content owners on editorial standards, and ensuring adherence to content management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Needs Assessment: Collaborate with LOBs to identify their enterprise content requirements and engage with designated page contributors.
  • Training Development and Delivery: Partner with technical teams to design and deliver SharePoint Online training sessions, covering topics such as content types, permissions management, and best practices.
  • Content Migration Management: Act as the primary point of contact for LOBs during the auditing and migration process, ensuring seamless content transfer to the new platform.
  • Consultation and Guidance: Provide expert advice to LOBs on leveraging SharePoint Online functionalities to optimize content management and enhance user experience.

Position Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills 

  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, proof reading and speaking
  • Must have a working knowledge of generally accepted business practices for enterprise content management
  • Prior experience working with SharePoint Online preferred
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
