The Data Warehouse Developer will assist in the initial setup, configuration and modeling of a new data warehouse in Redshift or Snowflake for the School of Medicine and Public Health. The person in this role will work closely with our data warehouse team, BI developers, software engineers and external partners to build our new academic and administrative data warehouse (AADW) as part of the UW-Madison transition to Workday in July 2025.

Required:

·         Experience in multi-system data integration

·         Experience with data integration through extract, transform, load (ETL) & ELT patterns

·         Experience with data warehouse development, maintenance, and auditing/logging

Preferred:

·         Experience with enterprise data integration tools (e.g., Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Data Integration, Informatica PowerCenter, dbt), preferably IICS Data Integration

·         Experience with data virtualization platform (e.g., Denodo)

·         Clear & effective written and verbal communication
