We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Governance & Security Specialist to design, implement, and manage governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance strategies for AI and Machine Learning systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that AI solutions are secure, ethical, compliant, and aligned with regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce AI/ML governance policies, standards, and best practices

• Ensure secure development, deployment, and operation of AI/ML models

• Identify and mitigate security risks related to AI systems, data pipelines, and models

• Implement data privacy, model security, and access control mechanisms

• Monitor AI systems for bias, fairness, explainability, and ethical compliance

• Conduct risk assessments and security audits for AI/ML platforms

• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and AI-related policies

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, legal, and compliance teams

• Establish incident response procedures for AI-related security threats

• Document governance frameworks, security controls, and compliance reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

• Strong understanding of AI/ML models, pipelines, and data workflows

• Experience with AI security, model risk management, and governance frameworks

• Knowledge of data privacy, encryption, access control, and secure model deployment

• Familiarity with ethical AI principles, bias detection, and explainable AI (XAI)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps tools

• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for AI systems

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in AI, cybersecurity, or governance (CISSP, CISM, AI Governance, ISO 27001)

• Experience with adversarial ML, model monitoring, and AI threat detection

• Knowledge of NIST AI Risk Management Framework or similar standards

• Experience in enterprise or regulated industry environments
